Miniature Goldendoodles
A miniature goldendoodle is quite an amazing creature that has been bred for its unique yet impressive qualities. Starting
with the standard goldendoodle breeding of a standard poodle and golden retriever cross, the intelligence, common sense,
friendliness, and train ability of a goldendoodle has made this breed a favorite of many dog owners and dog lovers. On
top of this the cross retains a good portion of the non-shedding quality of the poodle, while also keeping part of the
attractive look of a golden retriever.

Combining all these traits into one dog seems quite appealing, but we have one more trait to add to this list. A standard
goldendoodle will range anywhere from 45-100 pounds, which is quite large for a house pet. To achieve the goldendoodle
attributes in a more compact package, a miniature poodle is crossed with a golden retriever.

Facts and Myths of the Miniature Goldendoodle Breed

We have had successful experience in breeding and raising miniature goldendoodles. In our breeding of mini goldendoodles
we have come to find the answers to many questions asked by puppy seekers. Here are a few of our facts and myths we
have found to hold true in breeding minis.

A mini goldendoodle: Does not have a higher risk of genetic illness or disorder. In all actuality, miniature poodles tend to
have far less health risks when it comes to bone and joint disorders due to their smaller size. Decreasing the size of any
dog decreases its chance of showing any signs of joint disorders, especially hip dysplasia.

A mini goldendoodle: Is not necessarily more active than a standard goldendoodle. While any goldendoodle requires a good
amount of exercise, we have not found a miniature goldendoodle to be more hyper than a standard.

A mini goldendoodle: Does not have a disproportioned body. We have received concerns that a miniature goldendoodle will
have short legs and a large body, or long legs and a little body. This is not at all true. Our mini breeding has yielded a
goldendoodle in the same appearance as a standard, only in a little more compact size.

A mini goldendoodle: Has the same friendly and mild temperament as the standard goldendoodle.

A mini goldendoodle: Is just as easy to train. A golden doodle's intelligence level makes them easily trainable, yet
mischievous if not disciplined. Good and consistent training is required, but a the golden doodle desire to please eases the
burden of discipline.

Our Miniature Goldendoodles

Our miniature goldendoodles are being raised to be the best pets for a dog owner. We have had consistent breeding of
the mini golden doodle having a low to non-shedding coat and wonderful temperament suitable for just about any type of
family. We have also found our minis to range on average from 25 to 40 pounds at maturity.

We get coat types from slightly wavy to moderately curly.  We cannot guarantee a puppy will be in the expected size
range due to the differing genetic sizes to the parents, but our average generally holds true.

With all health concerns addressed and responsible breeding practices performed, there still is the possibility a health
problem could arise. We offer a one year genetic guarantee against any genetic defect or health issue that hopefully will
not, but possibly could arise.
